The Nautilus Room at Coronado Community Center set up for an evening of fun and fundraising in support of solar energy.
On April 24, 2025, the Emerald Keepers will host ‘An Evening of Aloha’ at Coronado Community Center, featuring a zero-waste buffet, Hawaiian entertainment, and an art auction to support solar initiatives in the Coronado Unified School District. Tickets are available until April 19, promising a fun-filled night for the community.
Coronado residents, mark your calendars for a special occasion you won’t want to miss! On April 24, 2025, the Emerald Keepers will host their first major fundraiser in three years, an exciting event called “An Evening of Aloha.” This delightful island-inspired soirée promises to be filled with scrumptious food, captivating entertainment, and a chance to support solar energy initiatives in our beloved Coronado Unified School District (CUSD).
The festivities kick off at the lovely Nautilus Room within the Coronado Community Center from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. For those who want to enjoy a special touch, don’t forget to arrive a bit earlier at 6:00 PM for the VIP reception.
This isn’t just any ordinary fundraising event; it’s designed to feel like a mini-vacation in paradise! Get ready to indulge in a zero-waste, island-inspired buffet along with delectable dessert options. Plus, there will be tray-passed appetizers to keep your taste buds dancing all night long. As guests sip on drinks from a hosted bar, they can choose from refreshing still or sparkling water packaged in recyclable aluminum bottles.
What’s a Hawaiian-themed gathering without some lively entertainment? Enjoy a stunning Hawaiian dance performance by the talented Mahana Dance Company, transporting you straight to the beach. And for the melody lovers among us, local artist Michael Gonzalez (known as Gonzo) will be providing the soundtrack for the evening, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere.
All funds raised during “An Evening of Aloha” will go directly towards conducting feasibility studies for solar energy implementation at CUSD and will provide necessary seed money for impactful future projects. The Emerald Keepers are working hand in hand with CUSD to enhance our efforts in environmental stewardship and renewable energy.
Ready to join in on the fun? Tickets are available for purchase until April 19, 2025. Individual tickets are priced at $85, while VIP tickets offer an upgraded experience for $110. There are also options to secure tables for six or eight guests—perfect for rounding up your friends and family for a fantastic night!
This wonderful community event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses, including event sponsor EDCO. Community backing is crucial in making such initiatives successful, and it shines a light on our collective commitment to promoting solar energy and environmental protection.
So, whether you’re interested in art, love to dance, or simply want to relish in a memorable night with fellow community members, check out the Emerald Keepers website for more details and to grab your tickets now! Let’s come together to support a brighter, greener future for Coronado!
